Today, Wednesday April 8th, the first food baskets have already been distributed to 50 families.

After the appeal for donations last weekend, we started shopping at the market on Monday. The somewhat overloaded pick-up truck transported the heavy sacks of basic foodstuffs to the Fundacion.

The next day, the team began preparing the food baskets. Everything was carefully filled into small bags and sorted by product. And already this morning after a few days the food could be distributed. As announced, the 10 products plus as extra this time a liter of milk and some sliced meat were distributed. Great care was taken to ensure that the recommended guidelines, such as distances, constant disinfection and the wearing of face masks were adhered to.

So now we hope to be able to continue helping the most needy families in the coming days and weeks…

Even if the smile was hidden behind the mask, one could feel her great gratitude from the sparkling eyes… At this point, many thanks to all the people who have become part of this action of humanity and solidarity in such a spontaneous way with a donation.
